Moving individual players on the preview screen
In a lot of the tournaments we run, we will try and "rig" the tournament so that players who normally practice against each other, or play each other frequently, don't have to be matched up. (Allow for new competition, etc.)
Something that would make this really easy, is that after the seeding process is done and you get to view the preview; if you could just drag and drop players to different spots. This would allow you to resolve the situation I previously described, as well as still see the seeds and make it fair.

Option for only the Host of the tournament to send emails to participants
I am hosting a tournament where I had 99 Participants. One of the participants sent bulk messages (approximately 15 messages) to all other participants promoting her games page through our tournament. The messages also asked people for their User Names, email address and passwords so she can sign up for them.
I spoke with another games page administrator who confirmed this same person did the same thing to his page.
It would be ideal if we have an option that only the host of the tournament can send emails to participants, this would prevent people spamming other players.

Support multi-player games
I'd like to be able to use Challonge for three-player games (with different options i.e., one winner per game or points distributed based on finishing order, etc.)

Multiple Round Robins
I think it would help to allow users to specify how many round robins to have in a tournament. I'm going to be running tournaments that require a double round robin format, so this would be a great help.

Court Limit/Waiting Position for Swiss Mode
If there are less courts then games to play. Should help to manage a tournament, where more games had to be played then courts are available an teams have waiting positions. Just to give an overview of the number of rounds to play, number of games for each team, etc.

Offer a 'friend's list' so I can choose from this for new challonges instead of having to enter them manually each time
My brackets are set up with the same basic group each time. I have to save my member's challonge info somewhere and plug it in each time. I'd love to be able to save these individuals to a friend's list associated with my account so I can easily add them to any future brackets.

This may initially just include country flags, but we’re definitely aware of the need for this.

Allow for an ad-free version of brackets on the Challonge site
While the ads aren't particularly intrusive on Challonge, I'd like an option to remove them from the Challonge website for an extra fee. If nothing else, it would be a nice way for users to support Challonge that don't need a module for their own site.

Add a re-seed the bracket feature
You definitely need to add a feature that allows users to re-seed the bracket once the first round is completed. A few pro leagues use this and it would be a useful addition to brackets.

Customizable score table in round-robin
Round-robin would fit much more use cases if it provided a way to create your own score table with custom columns where you could specify how the score would be calculated. This would mean that you could add additional scoring information to the score table and also make your own rules for who will win.
In the long term I would love to see some kind of score table template that you could provide yourself, preferably stored in some known markup language such as XML or JSON so that you could either use the Challonge web interface or the API…

Allow fields for team member names
I run a League of Legends tournament every month and would like an option to allow captains to include team member summoner names. To avoid "ringers", and allow teams to scout each other before games, these would lock for users at a given date/time but still be editable by the tournament organizer.

have offline or Android app version of swiss round and round-robin generators...
Your online website is awesome, especially your simple-yet-effective Swiss Round generator, but I would like to be able to use it if I do not have access to the Internet.
An offline version for PCs/laptops and/or a cellphone app (Google Android pregerred) would probably help those without access to the Internet greatly.
20 votesI’ve been planning such an app for quite some time, but can’t say for sure when it will be ready. Android’s first in line for mobile app though.

confirmation of participation
Would be great to force players to confirm that they will actually play, not just 'register and forget'. Implement adding stage between register and publishing tournament where players have to enter site and click some kinda 'I confirm that I will play' button :)
18 votesI agree completely. This will be part of a redesign of the sign-up process along with a cap on participants, waiting lists, etc.

Allow team tournaments
We use Challonge several times a year for several tournaments during our regional LAN parties. Not having a way for us to add teams (rather than individuals) to a tournament can be troublesome for us.
Current Process:
-- Post sign up link
-- Ask everyone to form their teams, and sign up with a single team name, and a single email notificationBetter Process:
-- Post sign up link
-- Allow people to sign up and either (a) create a new team, or (b) join an existing team
-- If joining an existing team, the team captain will receive an…17 votes -
Swiss Tie-Breaker #2
Is there any way a second tie breaker could be added to the swiss format?
First divide even scores by the entrant's they won against's total wins like it already is then break up the scores that are still tied after that by using total wins of the entrants they lost against?I would like to use this program to host tournaments for a game I run but currently we still end up with ties even with the current tiebreaker.

Ladder Tournament Type
Add another tournament type. Ladder Tournaments are a seeded bracket in which seed 1 plays 2, 3 plays 4, and so on. The winner moves up a position and the loser moves down. It is run for X amount of rounds and places are determined by which position each player finishes after all round have been completed.
