Option to hide "Bracket Preview"
It would be really nice if you could add a option for tournament hosts to disable the bracket preview since a lot of players think its the actual brackets and start playing ahead of time.

It's bad always having to tell people to check challonge again in the start of the tournament because they were already communicating with the oponents they saw during check in

I have discovered a useful workaround for this problem. Go to settings and choose "Free For All" as the tournament Type, which will then remove the bracket altogether and present a list of registered players. Before activating the tournament, change it to the desired format, shuffle, seed, and start your tournament. Some participants might briefly glimpse the pre-shuffled draw if they happen to refresh their screen at just the wrong moment, but it will avoid most of the problem.

No matter what you tell players ahead of time, when they arrive at a "Preview Bracket" and see they have a Bye, a substantial number of them are going to misunderstand, or forget, that this isn't the 'real' draw, and feel cheated. And it's almost deliberately misleading to label it a "Preview", which really does suggest it contains meaningful information. Why not allow an option to show either this preview bracket, or a simple "Players List" that shows the names of those who have accepted the invitation to play? Please address this -- it compromises our players' sense that our draws are fair.

This is the most significant usability issue I have with Challonge. I play or host a tournament almost every week, and each time there is confusion about who is playing who. In most tournaments, not every registered player checks-in, resulting in the bracket changing as soon as the tournament starts. This renders the bracket preview useless and therefore only confuses players.
