  1. allow more information to be tracked about a match

    Fighting games severely lack a good match database ala TLPD for StarCraft ( http://tinyurl.com/87vhnv5 ). Tracking characters, stages, and round counts per game in a match would allow such a tool to created from challonge brackets.

  2. Multiple owners on a sub-group

    I would like to add be able to have multiple owners on a sub-group, so if I were to be in a community of people that like to have some friendly tournuments but in widely different games, we would have some sort of centralized point for all of the Challonges.

  3. Shuffling in seeding groups

    Hi challonge team, thank you very much on your plattform you give to us. It's amazing.

    I have just one proposal: Can you create a shuffling system, which mixes up the seeds by paying attention on the first given positions.

    Like never shuffeling no1 and no2, but number 3 and number 4 only for that seeding group, then 4-8 and so on. So that every contestant will be shuffled in his own "seeding group" and never the top players never would just meet in the first round even on shuffling.

    An extended idea of it, would be having a ranking…

  4. Multi-Player Matches

    It'd be nice to be able to have matches consisting of more than just two participants, such as 2v2's, 3v3's, etc., allowing for more diverse competitions

  5. Translations

    It would be very nice if users could use this site in their languages. If you need help, I can translate it to Portuguese.

    I think about that because I'm the President of one Organization in Brazil but here only a few people can understand English and in Brazil there's no similar website to Challonge!

  6. add a spot to each match that can be used to assign tables to the match

    Many of us use your software to run pool tournaments and we still have to print out the bracket to keep track of matches being played by putting a number in a circle next to each match. This would be a great feature. Also, I would like the keep the bracket non-public until the actual start and then open it up to the public. We run a player auction before the tournament and the bracket being public lets bidders gain an inside knowledge of the draw before the matches start. A simple switch to turn on and off would be…

  8. Total number of matches involved

    It will be good if there is a feature or tab which shows how many matches are left, how many matches are done and the total number of matches in the tournament.

  9. Times & Alerts

    Hey guys,
    Amazing website!!! I have two suggestions:

    1) Is there a way I can set a start time for tournaments? Or when browsing tournament I can see when they start?

    2) Is there any way I can blast/email people to let them know that the tournament is starting? Or send reminders?

  10. Zoom in on a match in a bracket

    I want to be able to zoom between the whole bracket and a match. This would be great on a large display facing audience so that they easily can see where we are in the tournament. I need to be able to control the zooming via the API.

    It will be great if we could sort (ASC & DESC) tournament list by the coloumn of our choice (Name, Role, Type ,Participants, Created On & Progress) by clicking on it.

  13. Non-automatic Swiss Style pairing generating option

    Add an option to NOT automatically generate the next round seed. Instead, wait for an organizer to manually ask to generate the seed.
    Background: Sometimes during swiss style tournaments, players leave and adjustments must be done before the next round pairing is created. This option gives organizers enough time after the last match of a round was reported to remove players and do other adjusments

  14. In drag racing we call it buy backs

    We use your bracket to do a ladder for a on line drag racing league. We have used this religiously for well over a year and a half now.

    In the real world of drag racing we have something that is called buy backs. In which all the first round losers have the ability to buy back into the ladder. What happens is they buy back in and all those losers that buy back in race each other. The winner of each pair gets added back in to the 2nd round of elimination

  15. add starting times for tournaments and registration

    It would be pretty usefull to be able to set a starting time for tournaments.
    Also make it possible to open / close registration.

    Example:
    I'm hosting an online 1v1 LoL tournament.
    I only want players to be able to sign up an hour before the tournament starts. (To prevent having a lot of players not show up.)
    I want the tournament to start next sunday @ 14:00.

  16. Giving more Information / Anouncements

    I usually use the Tournament description to post general information about the setting rules and so on.

    Sometimes it is needed to make some quick Anouncements, changes in the rules and so on. If I just edit the tournament description no one will see the change. And I find the "Discussion" Menue usefull for chatting or discussion things, but not to make a quick and easy to spot Anouncement.

    Thus I'd wish for an anouncement feature. To place important quick Infos on the Tournaments frontpage. At best this comes with Email
    notification.

  18. Tournament Automatization

    I want to be able to make a private list of challonge users which are seeded from 1 to N number.
    Then when they register in my tournament then top seeded player from my list is automatically top seeded in the tournament upon registration. The low seeded player is automatically low seeded in the tournament upon registration. The people who are not in the list will be seeded randomly after the lowest seeded player.
    Also make an option to automatically shuffle participants before starting of the tournament. Also make an option for tournament to end as soon as all scores…

  19. Show what the tournament type abbreviations mean on the tournament list

    Take a look at this page.

    The "tournament type" column contains some pretty cryptic abbreviations. There should be some sort of popup tip on hover that explains them, or a legend somewhere on the page, so we can see what they mean.

  20. Fix round robin scoring

    The player with the most set wins should be the overall winner. If players tie in number of set wins then the player who scored more points should be the winner. If players tie in the number of set wins and points scored then the player who gave up less points should be the winner.

    Example 1: http://challonge.com/EXP_Marvel_3
    Duo & X-ray won the same number of sets but X-ray scored more points so X-ray should be placed above Duo.

    Example 2: http://challonge.com/EXP_Melee_Ladder_TOP8
    Vro and Oro?! won the same number of sets and scored the same number of points but Vro…
