2. Move tournaments to an Organization en masse

   I know tournaments can be added individually to an organization on its settings page, but since I've got some 270 odd tournaments already existing I don't particularly want to do it one by one. As far as I'm aware there's currently no feature for moving them in bulk, it'd be nice to have this.

3. API: Bulk Update Participant Seeds...

   Lets say I am using the API to run tournaments off my website. A tournament has 16 people signed up. Then I am using jQuery Portlets to allow the organizer to re-arrange the seeds. When he clicks "submit", the system must now do 16 queries to the API to update the seed for each and every participant (technically it only has to do 15, but whatever).

   It would be nice to have this done in a single query... maybe something along the lines with:

   PUT https://api.challonge.com/v1/tournaments/{tournament}/participants/seeds.{json|xml}

   Parameters:
   apikey
   {tournament} (in URL string)
   seeds array( [1] => participantid, [2] => participant_id, ... )

   First of all congratulations for your fantastic site. You have done amazing job. I am really excited that I found out about your website.
   I would kindly like to request the following feature.
   We are willing to organize an individual-pair Padel tennis tournament for 12 people. This requires individual pairs for 12 players. Each player partners each of the others exactly once. Each player opposes each of the others exactly twice. The format is as follows:

6. Add an option to disable preview of brackets while signups are open

   While there is a text saying "This bracket is a preview and subject to change until the tournament is started", a lot of people don't see this. There really isn't a need for a public preview of the brackets in any case.

7. Add a second stage format like IPL.

   Basically if four teams qualify then they play like so
   A 1 vs 2
   B 3 vs 4
   C Loser of A vs Winner of B
   D Winner of A vs Winner of C
   1st = D winner
   2nd = D Loser
   3rd = C Loser
   4th = B Loser

8. Tournament emails

   As an admin I would like to be able to email (not PM) all of my tournament participants in one message. PM can only be seen if they log in and a number of my participants rely on email to let them know what is happening.

9. allow more information to be tracked about a match

   Fighting games severely lack a good match database ala TLPD for StarCraft ( http://tinyurl.com/87vhnv5 ). Tracking characters, stages, and round counts per game in a match would allow such a tool to created from challonge brackets.

11. Support Margin of Victory for Tie Breakers to help support X-Wing Miniatures

    The X-Wing minatures uses a standard 100 pt game format. Where Margin of Victory is used as a tie Breaker.

    Margin of Victory
    At the end of each match, the player who has destroyed more squad points adds the amount by which his score exceeds his opponent’s score to 100 and records it on his or her score sheet. The player who has destroyed fewer squad points subtracts the same amount from 100 and records it on his or her score sheet.

    End of match example: Anakin wins the game, destroying 100
    squad points of his opponent’s ships. Anakin’s opponent, Biggs,
    has destroyed 24 points of Anakin’s ships. Anakin wins by 76
    points, which he adds to 100 for a margin of 176. Biggs loses
    by 76 points, which he subtracts from 100 for a margin of 24.
    At the end of a game round, if a player has destroyed all of his opponent’s ships, his opponent’s squad is worth 100 squad points, even if it is worth fewer squad points to begin with. If both players destroy an identical number of squad points, each player receives a Margin of Victory of 100 points. If a player concedes the match, all of his remaining ships are destroyed.

12. Allow team members to log in!

    I created a team but my teammate cannot log in to view standings etc. Can you set it up so that we can each use our own log-ins and view/change settings for our team/view standings/etc?

13. Shuffling in seeding groups

    Hi challonge team, thank you very much on your plattform you give to us. It's amazing.

    I have just one proposal: Can you create a shuffling system, which mixes up the seeds by paying attention on the first given positions.

    Like never shuffeling no1 and no2, but number 3 and number 4 only for that seeding group, then 4-8 and so on. So that every contestant will be shuffled in his own "seeding group" and never the top players never would just meet in the first round even on shuffling.

    An extended idea of it, would be having a ranking system with points, which can be used for every new tournament. We for example would use it four our tennis game tournaments in style of the ATP.

    Can you do that, it would be a really useful feature to us.

17. Make a streamlined tournament naming system

    So, you can change your name once you get into a tournament, but what if you could set it up on your profile to automatically enter as a certain name? It's not that much work to change it yourself, but it's streamlined.

18. Translations

    It would be very nice if users could use this site in their languages. If you need help, I can translate it to Portuguese.

    I think about that because I'm the President of one Organization in Brazil but here only a few people can understand English and in Brazil there's no similar website to Challonge!

    It will be good if there is a feature or tab which shows how many matches are left, how many matches are done and the total number of matches in the tournament.

20. Times & Alerts

    Hey guys,
    Amazing website!!! I have two suggestions:

    1) Is there a way I can set a start time for tournaments? Or when browsing tournament I can see when they start?

    2) Is there any way I can blast/email people to let them know that the tournament is starting? Or send reminders?
