  1. Increase the number of participants in a Round Robin Tourney.

    I'm working on a 40+ team regular season and wanted to use the round robin feature to create the schedule. It would be great if the limit was adjusted so I could add more teams.

  2. Non-automatic Swiss Style pairing generating option

    Add an option to NOT automatically generate the next round seed. Instead, wait for an organizer to manually ask to generate the seed.
    Background: Sometimes during swiss style tournaments, players leave and adjustments must be done before the next round pairing is created. This option gives organizers enough time after the last match of a round was reported to remove players and do other adjusments

  3. In drag racing we call it buy backs

    We use your bracket to do a ladder for a on line drag racing league. We have used this religiously for well over a year and a half now.

    In the real world of drag racing we have something that is called buy backs. In which all the first round losers have the ability to buy back into the ladder. What happens is they buy back in and all those losers that buy back in race each other. The winner of each pair gets added back in to the 2nd round of elimination

  4. add starting times for tournaments and registration

    It would be pretty usefull to be able to set a starting time for tournaments.
    Also make it possible to open / close registration.

    Example:
    I'm hosting an online 1v1 LoL tournament.
    I only want players to be able to sign up an hour before the tournament starts. (To prevent having a lot of players not show up.)
    I want the tournament to start next sunday @ 14:00.

  5. Add in-game teams under each player

    For example, if there is an NBA Jam tournament, we can add the NBA team selected by each player under their name within that round. It would also work well for Pokemon tournaments, since many tournaments require you use the same team throughout. Also, would work with most fighters, where we could display what fighter the player chose.

  6. Show what the tournament type abbreviations mean on the tournament list

    Take a look at this page.

    The "tournament type" column contains some pretty cryptic abbreviations. There should be some sort of popup tip on hover that explains them, or a legend somewhere on the page, so we can see what they mean.

  7. Tournament Automatization

    I want to be able to make a private list of challonge users which are seeded from 1 to N number.
    Then when they register in my tournament then top seeded player from my list is automatically top seeded in the tournament upon registration. The low seeded player is automatically low seeded in the tournament upon registration. The people who are not in the list will be seeded randomly after the lowest seeded player.
    Also make an option to automatically shuffle participants before starting of the tournament. Also make an option for tournament to end as soon as all scores…

  8. "Report Scores" tools

    Tools that let TOs run a tournament more effectively- specifically, on the "Report Scores" page we should have (1) A "Being Played" checkbox and corresponding timer (the timer is adjustable per tournament and is the expected length of a match), (2) a disqualification timer (e.g. after calling the match and one player being a no-show, 5mins until DQ), (3) a small note box to write which TV the match is being played on, selectable from a list given at the start (Challonge would then show which TVs are open- have no match being played on them).   9. Improved API documentation

    Challonge has been promising to update the API for a year and a half, and the Google group appears to be defunct. I'm an app developer and am building some software I would like to have Challonge integration with, but I am struggling to figure out if what I want to do is even possible.

    For example, I want to fetch tournament data and write my own bracket display for any viewer; but the API requires an API key (which only the tournament organizer would have) to fetch data. The documentation states that the api_key is required unless using HTTP…

    W-L-D isn't a global standard. I think there should be a setting to choose between W-D-L and W-L-D

  12. Allow for the color of the Bottom_bar to be changed when embedding an Iframe.

    My site has a white background so when my theme for iframe is set up I have it looking all nice then BAM! there is a thick grey bar at the bottom which looks bad. I understand putting the logo at the bottom and that loos fine but the grey bar looks bad especially because I have content under the iframe

  13. make a feature that enables people to choose to host either a 1v1 tourney or 2v2 tourney as at min you can t do that

    have a tickable option to choose from 1v1 and 2v2 and it automatically asks for the apporpiate number of players per team to register

  15. Mad Hatter style tournaments

    Mad hatter tournaments are usually used for volleyball tournaments. Names of players are drawn randomly out of a hat to build teams. These teams compete once and then the names are placed back into the hat and drawn randomly again. Each time a game gets played the teams are different. Your win/loss record follows you. It is similar to your round robin but instead of individuals competing, it would be teams. Teams could be as small as 2 people on up. This is a great social mixer.

  16. Poll system

    There should be a possiblity to open up Public polls,
    we often got the case that we variate the type of tournament we host,

    eg.
    Double elimination
    Single Elimination
    Round Robin

    asking ~30 people single is exhausting and takes alot time.
    a Poll system would solve this.

    atm I use Poll-maker.com, but it would be more convenient to have it right on the Challonge site.

  18. Link the log to the bracket / match details

    Add clickable links in the log that directs to the user to the winning match and/or bring up the same popup as if the user clicked on the match details / attachment so we don't have to search for where the logged action took place.

  20. chose Maps / Locations

    Would be nice, if we could add a set of maps to the rules, and the teams can set up a match on a specific map

    Talking for eSports
    we have 10 maps, but only 5 are allowed in our tournament.
    Would be nice, if we could set these 5 to a dropdown, and the teams can then chose the map, they want to play
