  1. Double Swiss - Two matches at a time

We had a StarCraft League, broken into 3 minor leagues, each of them being a Round Robin, and played two seasons of it, with Challonge pages tracking it all.

However, we are considering moving into a single league, so we would prefer having it be Swiss style, not full Round Robin. However, we have always been playing 2 matches a week, and there is no support for it on Challonge right now. I would like to see that.

I can write the offline script, and make a wordpress webpage, if we decide to go for that, but would rather love…

  2. Two double-elimination format (GSL) Groups Each group has eight teams. Group stage winners advance to the Semifinals Group stage runners-up

Hi! There should be groups that allow 3 teams from 8 to make it from groups. 1st placed teams get to Semi-Finals, 2nd placed Quarter-Final High seed, and 3rd Quarter-Final low seed.

  3. More then just one ELO Rating System.

The FIDE while ok, I'd prefer to utilize the FargoRate system. Pool players around the world are all rated on the same scale. From league players to the top pros. We're all rated the same.

Having an api to push the same data and one click submit to FargoRate.com

I certain this feature would be very appealing to many pool tournament directors and promoters to use your service.

    Please look into this.

    thanks!

  6. Game not required

Currently, it is required to specify the game being played in a tournament, but often the game is not an option. There used to be an option for an "unspecified game". Please bring that back.

  7. community api

    Hello,

I'd like to request support for communities be added to the API. I tried gathering data on a tourney that is hosted by a community account (k94odmdp), and I received a response that the requested tournament was not found.

  9. Live Webhooks for Tournaments

Whenever a tournament starts, all the matches that get entered should fire off a POST to a tournament-organizer-specified link with the match payload. This would allow developers to have live-data of the match and allow them to control what is done with the payload. This could then be used to update chats, discord bots, and other community outlets of the tournament live and on-the-fly.

  12. Add in bulk with byes

Hello. We use the Add in Bulk of our participants via an ascii file. This file contains the list of players and all Byes already pre-determined. However, challonge perceives them as players and you have to progress of the players manually. Would it be possible to include a method to correct this situation ?

  13. Locked out due to Stackpath

Not sure where else to place this, but... I was logged in and viewing a tournament I had made (Reference material for a story I'm writing!) and have been... locked out of the site?

    Reference ID: 920fd843c6e8048f65d41bb8986adbc6

I'm not sure why trying to back out of the tournament sheet would have triggered anything...? But I'm really frustrated since I have been working on this story for a few years and finally had the time to start writing again... to not be able to. Please help!

  15. Battle Royale Bracketing

    Battle Royale Bracket

Squad Bracketing (ex, 18 teams, 9 teams will move to next bracket)
Duo bracketing (ex. 36 teams, 18 will move to next bracket)

    Posting of placements per points.

Points decided on placement and kills (would be nice if this can be set up within the website so we just have to input the placement and kill count that would automatically display the points and line up the teams with their respective placements)

  16. Work with me to improve the messaging and notification aspects of Challonge.

We have a clan and are using the premier version of your software and for the most part it works pretty well, but there is a few things that we are running into while trying to use your system. I do coding as well so i have been playing with coding some solutions but am running into a limitation with the APIs. The area where i see that improvements are needed is for helping the opponents connecting with each other so that they can get the match underway. Since there is not something that is very good in place, it…

  17. How do I block or report a user?

I got a suspicious private message by a user called "raive24" with a profile picture that sexually disturbs me. There's a link in the message that is really suspicious, and I didn't click the link. I cannot find a report or block button. Can you add one, or it's just me being blind?

  18. Add labels to match sets

In E-sports a match is often played BO3 on different maps. When reporting on Challonge it doesn't seem possible to attach a match set result to a map name (a label) so you only get set results without information on what map the competitors played on.

Let us specify a label to each match set result that could contain the map name.

A CSGO example where the teams played on maps Inferno and Mirage:

                           Inferno Mirage
                Team 1 16 16
                Team 2 14 0

I am sure i'm not the only gamer missing this feature (surprised i don't seem able…

  19. Make tiebreakers modifiable

Currently there are only a few different options for tiebreakers when operating a tournament using small group round robin -> single elimination. If challonge allowed for the tournament organizer to select the priority for tiebreakers it would allow each organizer to highlight the measurements they find most important.

Example: In the Ascension 2020 September tournament, two players in the same group finished with 6 game wins, with one player going 1-3 and another going 3-1. The player that went 1-3 won in the head to head and therefore had the tiebreaker ahead of match wins. However, challonge does not seem…
