  1. Allow Swiss into Double-Elim 2-Stage

    I would love to have the ability to have a 2-stage tournament that goes from Swiss to Double-Elimination.

    Currently Swiss is not available as an option for 2-stage tournaments so I have been using pen and pencil to finish it out.

  2. make running 8 person or 12 person tournament

    as soon as the tournament gets a full field, it automatically goes from registration to live brackets. After the tournament goes live then the next tournament will open up for registration. when that one goes live then have another one open registration. is this possible without someone doing it manually?

  3. Limit number of results retrieved in API

    For example, add &limit=10 to return only the last 10 tournaments, allowing for much faster loading times.

  5. Allow organizer to rename Standing Field names

    I have used Challonge to organize soccer/football games.

    Group stage is typically ranked by "Custom (points system)": win = 3 points, tie = 1 point, loss = 0 points.

    The problem is that the word "points" should refer to how many points you get from winning/tying/losing, and NOT for how many "points" you scored in a game.

    I'd like to be able to change the field name for standings.
    Examples of how I'd modify it:

    Score --> Points
    Pts Diff --> Goals Diff
    TB --> H2H (Head to Head)
    Pts --> Goals For

  7. Two Part Tournaments Not Seeding Correctly

    The 2nd part of a two part tournament seems to placer the wrong seeds against each other. With default settings it places seed 3 against seed 4 and seed 5 against seed 6. (Gives seed 1 and 2 a bye).

    Should it not seed teams 3 against 6 and 4 vs 5?

  8. API: Be consistent on TImezone returns

    When using the backend API -- timedate objects are returned in the timezone of the backend server you happened to hit from the load balancer. You get varied results and then need to do conversion of the objects to UTC and then to local timezone for display.

    Would be ideal if the API always returned UTC.

    Would also be ideal if there was stickyness to the load balancer.

    We use the API to update a "Next match" KIOSK so players know which matches are next. But what can sometimes happen is it will say "Team B" is next .. and…

  9. Set team advanced manually / differentiate how many teams advance in each group

    Is it possible to get an option to set a different number of teams to proceed in each group?

    Like in Group 1 and 2 only one team goes to final stage, but in group 3 two teams go to final stage. So that we have 4 teams in final stage.

    Would be good if we could click a team and set it "to advance" manually.

  10. Option to hide percentages on for Voting

    I want to be able to hide the percentages for the voting rounds. I would rather have a big reveal where I advance the winners and that's how people find out who was to go forward. Sometimes it would be nice to have the percentages, but I would like the option.

  11. Make an elimination series tournament

    Starting with a large number of players, e.g. 40, and eliminate the weakest half each round, until a good amount is available for the final. This could be good for target competitions, where players have to reach a set number of points to advance.

  13. Seating Chart for Ticketed Event

    I would like to see the option to have a seating chart available for ticketed events so that the player paying for a ticket can choose a seat at the venue. This would make it so that an event like a LAN party can sell their finite number of tickets and the players can choose their seating in advance.

  14. Add a hidden field for participants

    Good morning, everyone,
    I want to create a ranking on my site from tournaments generated on challonge.
    However by looking at the API I have a small problem to make the link between the participants registered on my site and the participants that I add manually to my tournament on challonge (or with the API).
    Would it be possible to add a "Hidden field" when adding a participant?
    This would allow for example in my case to add the participant ID in relation to the ID on my site, so when I make a call to the API I base…

  15. Create a tournament that is Round Robin where the results are fed into a Double Elimination Bracket

    I run a tournament every year (for the last 6 years) where all the teams play round robin. Then, based on the results from the round robin, everyone is placed into a double elimination bracket according to wins/losses (or total points if there's a tie). The one thing missing for me to be able to use your site for my tournament is that. I could run a Round Robin tournament and then manually feed the results into a new tournament, but that is very manual. I would also want to be able to set a Max number of round robin…

  17. Direct Upper/Lower turns for the final phase in a Two-Stage tournament.

    Similar to another idea posted here, but I wanted to formulate it better.

    When you select "Two Stage Tournament" and "Double Elimination for Final Stage", all of the players are directly send to the first turn of a Double Elimination bracket. What I want to do is to send the 1st of each pools directly in the Upper Bracket, while the 2nd of each pools directly goes to the Lower Bracket. Right now, I have to purposely make people losing matches to get to what I want to do.

  18. Edit display name for registered user in event

    I am unable to modify the display name of a registered user to an event. I hope this feature would be considered as often I have players asking to change their display names after they register for an event.

    The tournament I want to make is with a round robin in the first round, then a new round robin where all number 1's and 2's, 3's and 4's are in the same groupes and then a semi final and final
