Manually Edit Loser's Bracket
When utilizing challonge in addition to other tournament software, often times the Loser's bracket seeding is different. If we could manually shift around the loser's bracket side as well, it would be nice.

Add a function for ELO Rankings
ELO rankings are commonly used in Chess and TCGs to determine the quality of a player over a period of time. Basically a player gets more ranking when he beats a good player (one who has a relatively high ELO ranking), than when he beats a "bad" player, and vice versa.

Allow Cross-Origin Requests for Javascript API usage
Hello,
Our University does not allow us to use server-side requests to implement the Challonge API. We must use Javascript API's for all our purposes. I was wondering if it would be possible to enable Cross-Site AJAX scripting in your web server configuration.
We will be creating an unlisted page that allows us to manage our tournament.
Thank you,
-Joel

Randomize matches
I would like an option to randomize the matches, as opposed to selecting the victors. This way, the tournament would be completely fair. Here is how I would go about lt: when you select the question mark next to a match, there will be a, 'Random', checkbox in between the two (or more) contenders. There should also be a, 'Randomize All', feature, which randomizes the victor of the entire tournament.

Allow Organizers to set the value for losses as well as Draw/Win.
There are some newer games that have values associated with losses.
Win: 3
Draw: 0
Loss: 1Can you allow Challonge to manipulate loss points?

2-Sided Single Elimination Bracket
I want to run a 128-team tournament. It would be much easier to view the brackets on the computer screen or printout if I could make a single-elimination bracket that was 2-sided just like the NCAA Tournament brackets appear. Can you please create this functionality?

Is it possible to delete communities?
I created a new community on Challonge without realizing that they just replaced organizations. Now I have two communities with the same name and want to delete the one I just created. I searched for a delete button for a decent amount of time and was unsuccessful in finding one. Is it possible to delete these communities or am I forced to live with my mistake?

make payments in different currencies
hosting in a country outside of USA is overly difficult as i have to take a payment from another platform then invite participant, if we could get a payment option straight to AUD (and other currencies ) it would make organizing a ticketed tournament easier.
making participants pay in a different currency causes fluctuations in entrance fee due to exchange rates16 votes -
Choosing the maximum number for a seed
For example the NCAA Tournament the highest seed they have is the 16 seed, when there is 64+ teams. I think it would look much more neat for the larger brackets that may have some big upsets to only be 8 over a 1 seed, instead of a 32 over a 1

Substitute players from Waiting List after tournament has started
Currently the setup for my tournament is every round has a certain starting time, and if you are more than 30minutes late you are removed from the tournament.
However for the first round if someone doesn't show up then I would like to remove them and substitute someone in from the waiting list in their place. There doesn't seem to be an option to do this after the tournament has started. As far as I can see there are only 2 options, neither of which are very good:
Substitute the absent player with the name of the player in the…

Board assignments for dart tournaments
I see this has already been asked for and declined. I just wanted to second the motion. It doesn't even have to be as grand as the software assigning boards, if given a free form field within a bracket where two teams face each other to manually assign a board number that would be great! So teams monitoring the bracket can see what board they're on...
To be clear this is a nice to have and not a got to have... I love your software and recommend it everyone I know who runs tournaments.

Paypal ability to pay for Challonge "Premier"
Your service has been very useful for our league at ugcleague.com, thank you.
I would like to support your efforts with a $25 donation towards "Premier", but I do not want to enter credit card info into the account. The League's challonge login account is shared with many of my admins, and I would rather use paypal for that reason. Is that possible?

Swiss with Elimination
The format is described here: http://senseis.xmp.net/?SwissWithElimination
It is basically Swiss, but players who lose X Rounds are eliminated. Tournament goes on until we have one last man standing.

Medal, Plate, Bown and Shield competition
If you ever watched rugby sevens, you must know about this. It's pretty easy to understand. Winners of the pool stage advance to the medal competition (2 from each pool, 8 in total), losers of the pool stage advance to the bowl competition. Losers of the QF medal competition advance to the plate, which is played with SF and Final. Losers of the bowl in QF advance to the shield, losers of the shield are the worst teams.
Take a look here : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_South_Africa_Sevens
In my opinion this will be useful for some competitions, where every team has a chance

Add an option to prevent rounds from automatically advancing
Rounds (in Swiss, particularly) currently automatically advance once all matches have been decided. This is extremely inconvenient when bracket changes need to be applied before the start of the next round, such as fixing misreported matches or removing players from the bracket who have dropped out.
Because rounds automatically advance, Challonge does not regenerate Swiss pairings after these changes are applied, and there is no option to roll back the tournament to an earlier state. The only fix I've been able to find so far is to reset the entire bracket and re-enter results for all matches that have taken…

Link a users tournament entries to their account
I'd like to be able to manually associate my tournament entries where the TO's don't link my entry with my Challonge user, to my Challonge account so I can better track all my entered tournaments and view progress over time.

Scores with 0.5 - half-points - draws
There are three resutls in chess: win (+1 point), loss, or draw (+0.5). So it would be great if you'll allow to set score with decimal points.
25-15 and 45-35 look so terrible... (instead of 2.5-1.5 and 4.5-3.5)

add in mutliple ranking systems (wins, losses, OT losses, OT wins, etc.)
basically what the title is. Being able to have multiple ranking systems rather than just win, loss, and tie and also being able to freely add points to those systems as i please (just like you already have for wins, losses, and ties.)

Make it possible to 'undo' something
It would be great if you could add an undo button, for instance in the log. A simple button to undo starting the tourney, the final stage, etc.. That would be awesome!

Lock the scores of dropped players
Currently after a player drops, they are awarded a bye for all remaining rounds. This wreaks havoc on the Buchholz system, as they are suddenly contributing as much to their opponent's tie break as if the opponent had played a player who won a large number of rounds.
There needs to be an option for awarding zero points for all future rounds for players who are dropped.
