  1. Board assignments for dart tournaments

    I see this has already been asked for and declined. I just wanted to second the motion. It doesn't even have to be as grand as the software assigning boards, if given a free form field within a bracket where two teams face each other to manually assign a board number that would be great! So teams monitoring the bracket can see what board they're on...

    To be clear this is a nice to have and not a got to have... I love your software and recommend it everyone I know who runs tournaments.

  2. Paypal ability to pay for Challonge "Premier"

    Your service has been very useful for our league at ugcleague.com, thank you.

    I would like to support your efforts with a $25 donation towards "Premier", but I do not want to enter credit card info into the account. The League's challonge login account is shared with many of my admins, and I would rather use paypal for that reason.

    Is that possible?

  3. APA Modified Single Elimination format

    Hi, we have a weekly 8ball tournament that uses the APA Modified Single Elimination format. Would there be a possibility of having Challonge offer this as one of there tournament format choices? thank you so much

  4. Swiss with Elimination

    The format is described here: http://senseis.xmp.net/?SwissWithElimination

    It is basically Swiss, but players who lose X Rounds are eliminated. Tournament goes on until we have one last man standing.

  5. change scores once brackets are completed

    I input the finals scores on my tournament incorrectly, but challonge automatically marked my tournament as completed and now I can't update the scores because the tournament is finished. Can I update scores once the tournament has been marked as completed? Is it possible to have a "Complete This Tournament" button instead of challonge automatically completing your bracket once the finals are reported?

  6. IFTTT (If this than that) Integration

    It would be nice to have more notification options and to connect other people more into the challonge service. Alle that could be easily accomplished via www.IFTTT.com
    With a Challonge Channel we could create our own recepies (e.g. insert an appointment in my google calender when my match becomes available, tweet about match results, send push notifications, etc) to get more involved into our tournaments.

    Since the Challonge API seems to be really flexible, it should be easily integrated with IFTTT - somebody "official" only has to inquire support for it on IFTTT.com -> https://ifttt.com/platform

  7. Add timestamps or 'time ago' to scores entered because ...

    This will help tournament directors / organizers know who's been "sitting" the longest or who hasn't played in a while. Often times the brackets progress out of order just for the sake of getting games played and some times effectively get "iced" because there's no way to keep track of when a team last played.

  8. Ability to follow users and tournaments

    I would greatly appreciate it if you could implement a feature to follow particular tournaments or users/tournament organizers of interest. For example, if I were to start participating in a series of weekly Smash Bros tournaments in which every week the host puts the results on Challonge, it would be most convenient if I could follow the tournament host so that I may easily look back at all the weekly brackets I have played in, and not have to remember and search the name of the tournaments or the username of the host.   9. Having an odd number bracket

    This would really help people who have like 9 or more people in their tournament, like me as i want to include all the 9 people in the bracket, the tournament is Double Elimination, but a person joined late in the tournament, and when i add the person, it won't let me put that person into the loser's bracket. It just makes them start at Round 1, which is already completed. This would be an great feature to have!

    Admin option to allow post results only if attachment uploaded. In our backgammon tournaments, the matchlog in attachment is mandatory.

  12. Allow users to set when byes happen, e.g., 1v6, 2v5, 3v4. 1 gets 2nd round bye, 2v3.

    I hate being forced to put the bye in the first round. You should allow us to change when byes happen.

  13. Mixed charts

    In European Pool Tournaments, we play with a mixed chart, for excample 64 players play double K.O. until Last 16. Then Single K.O. There are 3 rounds on the winners side, Until there are 8 players left there, and the "one loss side" plays down to 8 players whom are then drawn into the 1/8-finals. The 16 players then play single Knock Out to the end.

  16. Allow 3 team matches

    My desire is to break away from traditional A vs B matches only.
    So I am looking for a challonge that allows each match to have more than 2 opponents.
    Such as:

    Match 1
    A vs B vs C

    Match 2
    D vs E vs F

    Match 3
    G vs H vs I

    Match 4 / Round 2
    Winner 1 vs Winner 2 vs Winner 3

  17. Private Tournaments

    This is a nicely timed request. We’re working with another customer who needs a solution for this as well. We don’t have a solution yet, but it’ll be in the works within the next couple months.

  18. Start tournament based on Groups.

    We need an option to start the tournament group wise ( G1, G2, G3..), Since we cannot do update operation after starting the tournament to any of the groups.

  19. Persistent Stations

    Running two to three tournaments a week with the same station needs, it would be ice to either set a default list of stations, or have a set of stations banked and at the ready to just select as needed. Recreating then with every new tournament is cumbersome.

  20. API : make the icon functionality available

    For now, the icon member in participant part in API seems to be unusable.
    Adding the possibility of adding an url in it and display it on the bracket will be very interesting !
